My own healing journey started in 2007 when I realized that I didn't feel the way I wanted to feel - low energy, poor digestion, and body aches all forced me to dig deeper into my health and wellness, pursuing multiple alternative healing paths...and all of them led me to the importance of fundamental nutrition and lifestyle changes that would improve my life immensely.

Digestion
Yoga & proper nutrition enhance your body's ability to heal the GI tract, absorb nutrients, improve elimination & detoxification, boost the immune system, and eliminate allergies.
Women's Health
Women's health includes anything related to the delicate balance of hormones in our bodies – which is greatly impacted by exercise (by reducing stress and stimulating the endocrine system) and nutrition (giving the body the building blocks necessary for proper hormone function).
Sleep
Proper nutrition provides the brain with the chemical environment it needs to maintain healthy sleep. Balanced blood sugar prevents cortisol spikes that disrupt sleep patterns & hormones. Yoga helps calm the mind & relax the nervous system.
Balance
A balanced, nutrient-dense diet combined with healthy movement & positive thoughts all create an environment of inner balance. Outer balance means we are mindfully giving attention to all the aspects of our life (self, family, relationships, relaxation, etc.) to nourish our soul & enhance our joy.
Stress
Whether it be physical, mental, or emotional – stress causes an elevation of stress hormones that wreak havoc on the mind & body. Yoga reduces stress through mindfulness, breath, and movement, while nutrition provides the building blocks for a healthy body, free of disease, which naturally reduces stress levels.
Energy & Mood
When your body is getting the nutrients it needs from a balanced, whole-food diet, your cells can use food as fuel and maintain healthy blood sugar for steady energy levels. Yoga opens energy channels in the body that improve overall vitality & sense of well being.
